CLA Dean's List

What is the Dean's List?

Each semester, the college publicly recognizes superior academic performance through notations on students' transcripts, letters to students, notices posted on the first floor of Johnston Hall, listing students on the college's website, and announcements to academic departments.

How does a student qualify for the Dean's List?

To appear on the CLA Dean's List, your student must
  • complete at least 12 credits (including College of Continuing Education credits) of A/F registration,
  • earn a semester GPA of at least 3.67, and
  • receive no N grades.
If your student believes he or she qualified for the list, but was not included, he or she should consult the staff in the Office of the Assistant Dean, 106 Johnston Hall, (612) 625-3846.
